License Plate Tracker ("the App") is designed with privacy as a core principle. This policy explains what data the App uses and, just as importantly, what it does not do with it.
The App does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with the developer or any third party. There are no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, and no backend servers.
To provide its features, the App stores the following information locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework:
This data never leaves your device. It is not uploaded to iCloud, any developer-owned server, or any third-party service.
The App uses your device's GPS to record the coordinates of a plate sighting at the moment you log it. Location access is used only while you are actively using the App and only to tag your sightings. Location data is stored solely on your device as described above.
The App supports Siri and the Shortcuts app via Apple's App Intents framework so you can log trips and sightings by voice. Any data created this way is stored using the same on-device storage described above and is processed according to Apple's Siri privacy protections.
The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
The App does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
